The journey begins in Term 2 Week 7 with Student and Parent/Carer Information Evening held at The Entrance Campus. This session outlines the enrolment process and how to start considering possible HSC courses.
Term 3 Week 3 is the Course Expo. The Course Expo showcases all of the courses on offer and Students/Parents/Carers have the opportunity to speak directly to classroom teachers, check out examples of course activities/work and have any questions answered. It is important that all students attend as Personalised Student Enrolment Packs will be distributed on the evening. The Enrolment Pack will contain:
- EDVAL Student WebCodes for entering TEC Course Selections for Year 11
- Time and date for Student and Parent/Carer Course Selection Interview at TEC
- Application to Enrol in a NSW Government School Form
- TEC Course Selection Form
- TEC Year 11 Flexible Attendance Form
- TEC Life Ready Form
- TEC Permission to Publish: Video/Live-Stream Form
- SRE (student religious education) Form
Student and Parent/Carer Course Selection Interviews are conducted in Term 5 Week 5. TEC staff ensure that students are selecting a pattern of study that best suits their individual needs. Confirmation of course selections will be sent to students by the end of Term 3.
A Day In The Life of Year 11 Orientation Day is held in Term 4 Week 6. This day gives students a taste of life at The Entrance Campus. Students will follow their Year 11 timetable, meet their new teachers and familiarise themselves with their new school surroundings.
